Have you ever heard of the 90-Day Rule?

Have you ever heard of the 90-Day Rule? It suggests that the decisions and actions you take today will significantly shape or influence your life in the next 90 days.

The idea behind this rule is that the efforts and choices you make now create a momentum that will carry forward for the next three months. It’s based on the understanding that results in most areas of life, whether personal or professional, don’t typically happen overnight but are the culmination of sustained effort over time.

Life is a matter of choices, and every choice you make makes you.

John C. Maxwell

Choices hold a significant power and should be handled carefully. They are the key that unlocks opportunities and experiences. Each decision we make, small or large, sets us on a path that can shape our lives, in either a good, or bad way.

Your life is a result of the choices you have made. If you don’t like your life, start making better choices.

Zig Ziglar

Understand that you and you alone have the ability to transform your life. No one can make the choices for you, although sometimes that might be how we feel. You Have the ability to shape your own destiny. Choices are not just to be reaction to circumstance, but a conscious effort to create the life we desire and dream of.

When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.

Dr. Seuss

Often times we hear this phrase ( I had no choice ) or ( That was the only choice I had ) and sometimes the world can make you feel this way.

Three important things to remember when making choices:

  • Do not rush your decision.
  • Do not let fear control your decision.
  • Do not let you decision be a reaction.

A decision made hastily, fearfully or reactively will leave you in disappointment.

Dalton Howell

Every choice comes with responsibility. With every decision we make, we must consider the consequences. If you do not have time to consider a choice that has come into your life, treat it as it was never there to begin with.

Take time to reflect on passed choices and acknowledge your own doing. Doing this will help you to learn from mistakes and to make more sound decisions that align with your agenda.

You and only you are responsible for your life choices and decisions.

Robert T. Kiyosaki

Making no choice is also a choice.

How do we keep from missing opportunities that get dropped on us with no time to meditate on?

Here is the answer. Your desires, dreams, and goals should be studied by you, if you study them, and have them at the forefront of your mind, you will easily be able to be proactive about opportunities that come across your path at a moments notice.

The answer is be proactive and not reactive.

Sometimes you can not be proactive this than becomes a risk.

If you have a desirable decision that conflicts with another one of your desires, this can lead to a missed opportunity, only, if you are unsure about what you really want.

There is a choice you have to make in everything you do. So keep in mind in the end, the choice you make, makes you.
